Cedar and Sage Wellness was inspired by my healing journey over the past five years—one shaped by grief and an invitation to turn inward. That invitation asked me to release distractions, numbing, and self-abandonment, and to reconnect with my emotions rather than overriding them with thought.

Though my journey continues, I now walk it alongside others. My intention is to journey with you, shifting the narrative on wellness by fostering deeper connection with ourselves and with one another.

  • Personal

Zooming in and out creates deeper personal connection. The inward view reveals our feelings and needs, while the outward view helps us observe, reflect, and see the bigger picture of who we are. Let’s deepen our connection to ourselves.

  • Community

In a world of hyper-connection we are lonelier than ever. Community, connection, belonging - these are not luxury items, they are necessities. They are medicine for our minds, our heart and our souls. Let’s deepen our connection to each other.

  • Nature

Nature’s cycles invite reflection.  The turning of each season is  deeply embedded in who we are and how we operate. We use these seasonal changes, as an invitation to better understand our own internal seasons. Let’s deepen our connection to nature.

Nourish

Nourish events invite you to take an opportunity to slow down. A moment to connect to your heart and quiet your mind. A chance for community to hold space and nourish other members of our community. An invitation to attune to what you need. A quiet call to reconnect to reclaiming and remembering who we are and what we need.

Nourish is not about doing more, it is about feeling more. Nourish is more than an event, it is invitation to reconnect to ourselves in a more loving and empowered way. We will meditate, reflect, connect and share a delicious meal - all in the name of nourishing our body, mind, heart and spirit.

Bonfires

Enjoying an outdoor fire is a Sacred Pause. It’s an invitation to slow down and deepen our connection to the journey that we are on. Life is always moving forward, and time is always passing by, but are we being intentional about the direction that we are heading?

It's easy to get caught up in the momentum of everyday life to the point where we forget to reflect on the life we’re living. What if we used the fire, the change of season, and this
collective pause, as an opportunity to reflect on where we have been, honour where we are at, and plant seeds for where we are going next.

This is not just a moment of rest—but a sacred return. A remembering. An honouring. A choosing.

Community Walks

Nature + Movement + Community = Medicine. Let’s gather together, surrounded by nature, to open ourselves to the medicine that we seek. Let’s connect to the elements, the seasons, the birds and the trees. Let’s connect to the earth beneath our feet, the sky high above, and the community right here in our backyard. Let’s walk, let’s talk, let’s sip our warm drinks, share our stories, and embrace the views of the lake and the
city skyline. All are welcome.

Redefining Wellness Together

As someone that has worked in health for the past 16+ years, it has become increasingly clear that wellness is about so much more than science has been able to account for and about so much more than the information presented in my naturopathic text books. As science continues to approach health in a reactive and fragmented way, and as health continues to become more elusive for an increasing percentage of our population, I think it is time for a new narrative on wellness. A narrative that is more empowered, more individualized, more holistic, more intuitive, and more accessible.

Cedar and Sage wellness is about creating time and space in your life to become an expert in who you are, how you feel and what you need. It is about YOU connecting to YOU, YOU knowing YOU, and YOU honouring YOU. It is about the art and practice of finding what feels good. It is about deeper connection, self-discovery, radical responsibility and alignment. It is about grace, honesty, compassion and love. It is a way of living and a way of being.

It is about a journey that is often invisible to outsiders. A journey not given enough importance, airtime and/or credit in the society we live in. A journey without a final destination. A journey whose measure of success is in the eye of the beholder. Measured by the amount of love and joy in your heart; the amount of curiosity and calm in your mind; and the amount of light and hope in your spirit.

I am so happy that you are here. Let’s connect. xo

Testimonials

In a time when it can be so difficult to feel connected to ourselves and others, I feel grateful for the community fire gatherings and Nourish events that Christina hosts. Community fires provide an opportunity to tap into nature's rhythms as we celebrate and embrace the changing of seasons, while gathered around a crackling fire in a serene park setting.

These events are structured in a way that flows nicely. Christina is an incredibly giving and caring person, and she does a great job of educating people on how to use meditation and creative journaling to look inward in a non-judgemental manner. This key aspect helped me to feel less alone (I saw that some others shared similar struggles and stressors), which resulted in me feeling less pressure “to be perfect”. She also effectively points out all the ways society bombards us with messages of “we are not good enough”. I have recommended Nourish events to many friends, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone reading this as well.

Attending Nourish has been a transformative experience for me. From the moment you walk into the space, you feel seen, welcomed, and completely at ease. Christina curates every detail with such intention—from the beautiful, nourishing food to the grounding meditation and reflective journaling. There’s a unique kind of magic in the way she brings people together—creating a space where connection flows naturally, and you leave feeling full in every sense of the word. It’s more than a brunch—it’s a reset for the mind and soul.

What I loved about the fires was the feeling that I would always leave with – calm. It’s interesting how something as basic as being in nature, gathering around a fire and sharing a few thoughts and stories can bring such peace. There’s a little magic in that simplicity and the way the evening is brought together.
